Accessibility in Hamat

Hamat is making great efforts to provide accessibility at all the company sites, including customer service sites, as well as social media and websites. 

These adaptations are being implemented in accordance with the Equal Rights Law for Handicapped People (1998). 

Accessibility to customers at Hamat service sites:

Hamat has made all its customer service sites fully accessible, in order to service all its customers equally and honorably. 

Below is the current status:

Accessibility parking: Next to the factory entrance are 2 accessible parking spots.  In addition, 50 meters from the entrance is a public parking area. 

Entrance Door:  The entrance door is wide and accessible and includes an intercom/camera at a height of 120 cm, as required by law.

Accessibility Path: From the entrance to the factory to the service department, a wide and paved path allows for wheelchairs to be utilized.

Countertop: The service departments countertop meets the requirements of the law.

Speaker system: The service departments loudspeaker system meets the requirements of the law

An accessible waiting area exists.

Accessible rest rooms exist.

All service information is accessible by telephone, e-mail and fax.

Accessibility to Internet Site
Hamat operates according to Israeli Standard 5568 at a level of AA.  This standard is identical to the international standard, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.

An accessibility button exists on every page of our web site. 

It should be noted that despite our efforts to make the complete website accessible, there may be some areas that are not yet accessible.  We are committed to completing accessibility as part of our commitment to make the site accessible to all of the population.  We would be happy to receive question or suggestions on how to improve access. 

Navigation with the help of the keyboard
By using the keys “tab” and “enter” the site can be navigated.  In addition, the first link on every page  allows one to go directly to the table of contents.

Text color and background
The button “contrast changes” – allows two levels of contrasts – regular contrasts and high contrasts, where one can see yellow text on a black background.

Increasing text Size

  • To increase text size, use the key + Ctrl
  • To decrease text size, use the key – Ctrl
  • To return the text size to its original size, use the key 0 Ctrl

Changing the Screen size

  • To increase the screen size, use the key F11
  • To return the screen size to its original size, press again on the F11 key.
